By virtue of defense, the Vikings utilized a halfcourt trap in the first half to hold Sandpoint scoreless by the end of the first quarter. After taking a 31-12 halftime lead, Coeur d'Alene coasted the rest of the way. Tony Naccarato added eight boards and four blocked shots and Colby Daniels pitched in five assists.
