Summary

Andra Hamilton didn't take many shots Thursday, but when her number was called, she stepped up and helped deliver a district championship for Colfax.

Hamilton hit a three pointer with five seconds left in overtime, and the Bulldogs defeated Northwest Christian 48-46 in the District 7 2B Championship game at Reardan.

It was Hamilton's fourth shot of the game. She finished with five points.

The Crusaders had taken the lead with Courtney Gray's layup and free throw with 20 seconds left, but Amara Huber drove the ball to the left wing and then kicked the ball across to Hamilton for the winner.

Huber finished with 18 to lead all scorers and pulled down 11 rebounds. She was named tournament MVP.

Melissa Guske led NWC with 15 points, while Treasure Farmer had 13 points, and Gray had 12 points and 11 boards. All three were named to the all-tournament first team.
