Summary

With seven seconds left, Colton Magers hit what turned out to be the game-winning jumper, giving Wilbur-Creston the 60-58 victory over Colfax. Momentum had gone back and forth all game as Colfax opened with a seven point lead, then the Wildcats came back with a 21-10 second quarter. The Bulldogs responded with a strong third quarter to tie it up at 47 apiece before the final frame. Magers finished with a double-double for the Wildcats with 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Nick Densley had a game-high 18 points. For Colfax, Danny Robinson had a team-high 15 points, and Kasey Johnson added 13 points.

With the win, Wilbur-Creston advances to play St. George's on Thursday for the third/fourth seeds to subregional. Colfax will face Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Thursday in a loser-out game.
