Summary

Mullan's Charli Sadler laid up the game-winning score as time expired to upend Kootenai 50-49 to advance to the 1A District II championship. With Kootenai leading 49-48 with six seconds remaining in the game, Sadler grabbed the rebound off of a missed free throw and drove the length of the court for the deciding basket. Robyn Trogden added 11 for the Tigers. Katey Mae McInturff led Kootenai with 17 points. Mullan will face Lakeside in the district championship for the right to advance to state on Thursday in Kootenai at 6 pm.
