Summary

Big play from Cole Dawson and Dominic Cain and a clutch shot from Logan Miller helped Selkirk rally past Northport 45-41 on Saturday at Ione.

The Rangers trailed by as many as 12 in the third quarter, but Dawson netted 18 points and Cain had 15 to help the hosts mount a comeback. Miller hit a three-pointer, his only points of the game, to finally put Selkirk up with four minutes remaining.

Dawson also had eight rebounds, while Cain pulled down seven.

Lino Belli scored a game-high 20 points for the Mustangs. Northport was able to build a lead thanks in part to five first-half three-pointers.
