Summary

St. George's held on to defeat host Reardan 50-46 in the District 7 2B tournament. Down 47-46 with 30 seconds remaining in the contest, Reardan committed a costly turnover and St. George's Hailey Higashi drove the ball the other direction, scored a three point play to increase the Dragons' lead to 50-46. Higashi finished with 13 points, six boards, and three steals, and teammates Ceci Bergquist and Alison Day each added 10. Lizzy Williams posted 13 for the Indians. St. George's faces Colfax in the semifinals in Reardan on Saturday at 1 pm. Reardan plays Wilbur-Creston in the consolation bracket.
