Summary

Hannah Burland netted 27 points, and host East Valley used a third-quarter surge to stay unbeaten in GNL play with a 66-55 win over rival West Valley.

The Knights faced a 31-27 deficit at the half, but exploded for 29 points in the third and led 56-44 entering the fourth. Hannah Burland hit four threes, and Elle Burland added three of her own as part of her 14-point effort. EV hit nine long balls as a team. Jordan Phelan tacked on 12 points and 10 rebounds. East Valley has won 11 straight and has not lost since Dec. 30 at Cashmere.

Erin Higbie scored 22 points to lead the Eagles, while Natalie Noble scored 13.
