Summary

Although Vinny Saldana only scored four points, these were the exact points Mead (6-3, 3-3) needed to beat Hanford 70-68. Saldana stole the ball out of Hanford's hands and turned it into two-points to put Mead up by two, but Hanford followed that up with a quick lay-up to tie with less than eight seconds left to play. With the ball in Saldana's hands, he charges the entire length of the court to hit the game winner basket as time expired over Hanford's top-scorer Jacob Sivonen, who had 28 points on ten field goals.
