Summary

Sophomore Sienna Swannack and Joelle Mahowald scored 11 points apiece to lift Lakeside 41-38 on Saturday.

The Bulldogs led the half by one but could not hold off the Eagles in the fourth quarter. Morgan Smith hit a 2-point shot with less than 30 seconds left to push Lakeside ahead by one. Soon after, Swannack drew a foul and made both her baskets at the line to put the Eagles on top by three points. Ashtyn Aune took a shot at the buzzer in attempt to tie the game, but came up short.

Swannack grabbed 10 rebounds and McKensie Brittos tossed in six points for Lakeside. Aune led Colfax with 13 points and Piper Cai grabbed 5 more points and eight rebounds for the Bulldogs.
