Summary

Kobie Hanson took in five field goals and was 2-2 for free throws, including a three-point basket, scoring 13 points for Mead (3-1) to win a close contest against Mt. Spokane (0-3) by a final score of 54-53. Vinny Saldana scored three field goals, along with being 2-3 on free throws, and had nine points for Mead, while teammate Dedrick Pakootas had a three-pointer and six points.

Kyle Griffiths nailed four three-point shots and had 5-7 free throws to score 19 points for Mt. Spokane, while Sam Stiles brought in 17 points on eight field goals.

Mead jumped out to a 31-25 lead at the half, with Mt. Spokane fighting back in the third quarter. But due to some missed free throws at the end of the game, victory slipped out of Mt. Spokane's grasp.
