Summary

Rogers pushed across a run in the top of the first inning, and Austyn Holm made it stand up, as the Pirates squeezed out a 1-0 win at Shadle Park on Thursday.

Evan Norden reached base and came around to score an unearned run. Holm managed to scatter three singles and Dalen Hainline's double over his complete-game effort. The win snapped Rogers' three-game losing skid and ended the Highlander's three-game winning run.

Kodee Reindeau kept Shadle in the game with a strong performance, as he struck out eight and allowed only three hits and a walk.
