Summary

Bianca Sanchez picked up the win on the mound and added three hits from the plate as Newport defeated Freeman 11-7. The Scotties took an early 6-1 lead, due in part to Josie Schultz's two-run home run in the second inning. But Newport came back with an eight-run third inning and held on from there.
