Summary

Lewis and Clark defeated visiting Mead 2-0 on a pair of goals in the second half. The first goal came early in the second half as Hadyn Gabbert cleared to Rebekah Reason near midfield and Reason made a good touch to get past the defense and beat the goalkeeper. Freshman Maddie Collins scored the other goal, also assisted by Gabbert. Emma Marshall made seven saves in the shutout. LC (2-0) was eliminated by Mead (0-2) in last year's district playoffs.
