Summary

Sarah Lambert's golden goal sent Coeur d'Alene to state as the Viks downed Timberline 2-1 Saturday at Lewiston.

Lambert had staked CdA to a lead in the 65th minute off an assist from Josee Bassett, but the Wolves drew level three minutes from full time. The Viks didn't take long to respond, as Lambert finished a pass from Meg Lowery in the 83rd minute, sending CdA to state for the first time in seven years.

They will match up with Rocky Mountain Thursday in Idaho Falls.
