In a close-fought match effectively for first place in the Great Northern League, East Valley managed to hold on for a 18-25, 25-20, 25-19, 22-25, 15-9 victory over Pullman. With the win East Valley improves to 7-0, while Pullman falls with the loss to 4-2, both losses to East Valley. While East Valley swept in their first meeting, this match proved much closer for the teams who tied for the league title last year.

The Knights benefitted from strong performances from several players. Jordan Phelan and Shalyn Stack both had a team-high 17 kills. Stack also had 15 digs. Emily Sior had two blocks and 44 assists. For the Greyhounds, Lizzie George had a team-high 11 kills and seven blocks.
