Amara Huber had 17 points and eight rebounds and Colfax pulled away in the fourth quarter and beat Toutle Lake 45-38 in the girls State 2B championship game at the Arena.
The Bulldogs opened the game on a 12-0 run. Toutle Lake finally got on the board with 1:39 remaining in the first, when Britzy Hockett made one of two free throws. The Ducks, however, scored the final five points of the quarter to narrow the gap.
Colfax led 24-20 at the half. The Ducks pulled even for the first time on Samantha Woodley's lay-in midway through the third. They took their first lead early in the fourth quarter on Bailey Hockett's jumper, but the Bulldogs outscored them 17-8 the rest of the way to secure the win.
Toutle Lake struggled offensively throughout. The Ducks shot 25 percent from the floor in the first half and 29 percent in the second half. They made just one of their 15 3-point attempts. Bailey Hockett and Woodley led the Ducks with 10 points apiece.
