Jesse Leuenberger scored 26 points and the Bear Creek Grizzlies defeated the Liberty Lancers 63-39 for third place in the State 2B tournament.
With a one-point lead midway through the second quarter, the Grizzlies went on a 9-0 run to end the first half and they never looked back, going on to outscore the Lancers 30-15 in the second half.
Collin Feight added 12 points and 11 rebounds, and Luke Blankenbeckler dished out six assists for the Grizzlies.
The Lancers were bothered by the Grizzlies' full-court pressure throughout the game, committing 13 turnovers to the Grizzlies' five.
Ryan Thayer scored 25 points and grabbed eight rebounds, though Match Burnham was held to just one point in the loss.
