The Pateros Nannies had a balanced scoring attack and controlled throughout a 68-43 win over the Mount Vernon Christian Crusaders for third place in the 1B State tournament.
Ashton Steggell led all scorers with 17 points. Katarina Wilson and Lorrie LeDoux pitched in 12 apiece, with LeDoux adding seven rebounds as well.
The Nannies went on a 23-3 run in the second quarter to build the lead to 27 points and eliminate any hope the Crusaders had for a comeback.
Grace Kuipers and Natalie Sakuma each had 10 points for the Crusaders, who earned fifth place in the tournament.
