Summary

Chewelah used a strong defensive effort on Senior Night to effect a big comeback, eventually defeating visiting Freeman 51-48. The Scotties had jumped out to an early 21-6 lead, but from the beginning of the second quarter on, the Cougars shut down their offense, giving up only 27 points the rest of the way. Mason Miller led Chewelah with 16 points. Jacob Phipps led all scorers with 18 points for Freeman in the loss.
