Jake Love scored 22 points including a the game winning 3-point shot with seconds remaining as West Valley secured a Great Northern League win over visiting vistiting East Valley in the annual Golden Throne Game.

After coming back from 10 points down at halftime, the Eagles were within one with 16 seconds left in the game and the Knights at the free throw line. Love secured the rebound on the missed East Valley free throw and then drove to the 3-point line for the winning shot. East Valley had enough time for one last shot, but was unable to convert. The Knights were led by Dan Keplin with 15 points.
