Summary

A pair of impressive freshmen led Republic to a 70-35 nonleague rout of visiting Chewelah.

The Tigers' Shania Graham scored 27 points and added nine rebounds, eight steals and five assists. Makenna Weltz added 17 points, 13 rebounds and five steals.

Republic cranked up its half-court pressure defense in the third quarter and outscored the Cougars 24-4 in the third quarter to put the game away.

Sophomore post Savannah Bowe added 11 points, nine rebounds and four steals for the Tigers.
