Summary

The visiting Lewis and Clark girls basketball team moved into second place alone with a 62-52 win over the Central Valley Bears Friday in a Greater Spokane League game.

LC (6-2 overall, 5-1 league) pulled away from CV (5-3, 4-2) in the second half. The Tigers did so by finally taking advantage of Bears turnovers.

CV committed 28 turnovers to LC's six.

Sophomore Riley Lupfer scored a team-high 18 points to lead LC and teammate Michaela Kay added 17.

Junior Madison Hovren led CV with a career high 32 points and 10 rebounds.
