Summary

The Bears (16-6) advance to the 4A subregional in a 65-61 loser-out overtime thriller over the Panthers (15-7), behind 28 points from Mariah Cunningham and 21 points from Madison Hovren. Mead's Sue Winger hit a jumper with 1.2 seconds left to tie the game at 57 and send the game into overtime, but the Bears were able to close it out in the extra period. Ashlyn Lewey scored a team-high 17 points for the Panthers in the loss. Central Valley will host Walla Walla on Friday.
