Summary

West Valley surged past visiting Pullman in the fourth quarter to claim a 56-49 victory in the District 7 2A Tournament. The Eagles trailed 42-35 entering the final period, but forced several Greyhound turnovers and rode a 27-point, 10-rebound effort from Erin Higbie to the win.

Rachel McGlothlen and Natalie Noble added 10 points each for WV, who will visit rival East Valley on Wednesday.

Pullman, who was led by Anne Mari Petrino with 12 points, saw their season end with the loss.
