Summary

Kyle Guice had 20 points and eight rebounds to help Lake City beat visiting Moscow on Senior Night in Coeur d'Alene. Justin Pratt added 17 points and five assists for the Timberwolves (15-5), which jumped out to a quick lead and never looked back.

The Bears (7-11) had a hot hand in Nick Ellison, who made five three-pointers en route to 19 points, but could not overcome Lake City's hot shooting and a 36-14 rebounding margin.

Lake City will host Post Falls on Friday at 7 p.m. in a 5A District I opener. Moscow will not play until February 26 when they take on the winner of the 4A District I opener between Lakeland and Sandpoint.
