Hannah Rick scored a clutch basket in the mid-post area to put visiting Selkirk ahead with about 30 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter and the Rangers held on to defeat Almira/Coulee-Hartline 50-48 in the District 7 1B girls basketball tournament.

Katie Couch led the Rangers with a double-double, scoring 26 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Reinnee Rockett led the Warriors with 14 points.

Selkirk will play Odessa-Harrington or Republic in the semifinals.
