Summary

Jonathan Morris scored 24 points, Chris Hartis added 10 points with 10 rebounds as Northwest Christian held on to defeat Colfax 60-57 Monday night in the opening round of the 2B District 7 tournament at Mead High School.

Northwest Christian held a 14-point lead, 46-32 at the end of the third quarter. Kasey Johnson scored 10 of his 18 points in the fourth quarter, pulling Colfax within three points as time expired.

Northwest Christian will play St. George's in the winner's bracket game at Mt. Spokane. Colfax faces Reardan at Mead High School. Both second round games are Wednesday night.
