Asher Cox dominated inside as Northwest Christian outgunned Freeman 87-69 Tuesday at the Greg Larsen Memorial Winter Classic at Freeman. Cox, a 6'7" post, made 11 out of 12 shots for a game-high 28 points. Nathan Sander notched 17 points for the Crusaders (8-2), while Ryan Ricks tallied 14 points and 13 rebounds, David Olds chipped in 12 points and Ian Starkey added 10.

Jake Phipps led the Scotties with 17 points, and Jack Paukert had 10. Freeman made nine first-half threes to take a 40-39 lead into the break, but couldn't keep up with NWC, who poured in 48 second-half points.
