Summary

Tyler Anderson's free throw with 7.2 seconds left gave Deary a hard-fought 38-37 win at Kootenai on Saturday.

The game was close throughout and tied at 30 as the teams entered the fourth quarter. Morgan Willms led the Warriors (2-2) with 13 points, while Colson Schultz had nine points and 11 rebounds. Jacob Love tallied five points and five rebounds and Hunter Whipple had four assists.

Kootenai had a chance to win late, but they suffered a late turnover and then were penalized for a blocking foul in the closing seconds. Anderson made the second of two attempts to provide the winning margin for the Mustangs.
