Summary

Tyler Axtell scored 27 points and had five rebounds and six assists to help lead Riverside to a 65-58 victory over Freeman. After a close first quarter, the Rams pulled away in the second and an Axtell three-pointer put them up by 12. The Scotties came back late, narrowing the deficit to six with a couple minutes left, but Axtell scored nine points in the fourth quarter, mostly on late free throws to halt the comeback.

Kevin Huggins had eight points and 13 rebounds for the Rams, and Andrew Kramer had 15 points. For the Scotties, Jack Paukert had 17 points and Jake Phipps had 11.
