Summary

In an up-and-down game, Oakesdale had the last push, defeating Pomeroy 52-41. The Nighthawks took a 26-12 lead in the second quarter, but the Pirates fought back, narrowing the gap immediately to 26-19 at the half. In the early part of the fourth quarter, Pomeroy took the lead, but Oakesdale tightened up their rebounding and pushed the ball up the floor for quick scores to go on a decisive, final run. Jacey Johnson led the Nighthawks with 25 points, while Logan Reed just missed out on the double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds. For the Pirates, Kacey Halbert scored a team-high 21 points.
