Summary

Hannah Burland's big night helped East Valley put away visiting Sandpoint 56-44 on Saturday.

Burland totaled team-highs with 20 points and 11 rebounds for the Knights (4-0), who remained unbeaten on the season. Jordan Phelan added eight points and Skylar Bastin had seven.

Madi Schoening tallied 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Bulldogs (5-3). Grace Kirscher added 10 points and Karlee Williams recorded six points and 12 boards.

Sandpoint rallied to cut East Valley's lead to just five after three quarters, but the hosts made 24 out of 31 free throws (77%) to help close out the win.
