Summary

Republic came back after a slow first half to narrowly defeat Selkirk 49-45. Selkirk capitalized on the Tigers' mistakes early, but Alex Rivera, who finished with 10 points, helped keep Republic close. In the second half, the Tigers did a better job attacking Selkirk's zone defense and slowed the Rangers offense enough to complete the comeback. In addition to Alex Rivera's strong performance, Aaron Fritts finished with a double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds. For Selkirk, Dominic Cain led in scoring with 14 points, Jacob Couch had 13 points and Cole Dawson had 10.
