Summary

Melody Kempton scored 21 points as Post Falls used a big first half to surge past North Central for a 64-38 nonleague win at the Border Clash at West Valley on Friday. Kempton - a freshman - started strong, pouring in 10 points by halftime as the Trojans built a commanding 41-12 lead at the break. The 6-foot post, also pulled down 18 rebounds and blocked seven shots in the game. North Central junior Megan Dean led the Indians with 13 points.
