Summary

In GSL slowpitch play, Viktoria Rossi had a solid day at the plate, and pitched Gonzaga Prep to an 11-6 victory at Rogers.

Rossi hit 3 for 4 with two doubles and two runs batted in. Nia Whitfield was 3 for 4 at the plate for the Bullpups, with a double and two RBIs.

Pearl Buchanan put Rogers up early with a 2-run homerun in the bottom of the second, and Salota Hensene added a two run shot of her own in the fifth, but Rogers was ultimately done in by a fourth inning in which Gonzaga Prep scored eight runs and built a five run lead.

Alexis Kortness was also solid for Rogers hitting 4 for 4 with a double and an RBI.
