Summary

Savannah McConnell drove in the game's lone run and Shelbie Mikefell kept the Mead bats at bay as host Lewis and Clark edged out a 1-0 GSL slowpitch softball win on Tuesday. McConnell hit an RBI sacrifice-fly of Mead starter Tessa Beloved in the bottom of the sixth to break a scoreless deadlock. Neither Mikefell or Beloved allowed a walk in the pticher's duel. On Thursday, LC hosts University for a double-header while Mead plays host to Shadle Park for two games.
