Summary

Emily Welch drove in seven runs to propel Gonzaga Prep to a 13-3 GSL victory over visiting East Valley in five innings. Welch got things going for the Bullpups with a three-run home run in the first inning and added four more runs with a grand slam in the second. Viktoria Rossi (1-2) held the Knights to three runs on seven hits, striking out two and only walking one.
