Gretchen Van Lith scored 25 points as the St. John-Endicott Eagles defeated Shoreline Christian and took fourth place in the WIAA 1B Girls State Basketball tournament.

Van Lith was 9-of-18 from the field and 5-of-6 from the free-throw line and grabbed a game-high nine rebounds. She was the only Eagle to score in double figures.

Bella Hermesch led the Crusaders with a double-double performance of 17 points and 15 rebounds. Shoreline Christian shot just 4-of-20 in the first half and was unable to overcome its slow start.
