Summary

Dexter Sienko led the way in overtime as the top-ranked Dragons avoided a major upset with a win over the Timberwolves in a 2B boys game at the Spokane Arena.

Sienko finished with 28 points and 18 rebounds and proved too much to handle late in the game.

Morton-White Pass led for most of the game until St. George's closed the gap in the final minute. The Timberwolves' Jesse Eveland was fouled on a put-back attempt with 0.4 seconds to play. He made 1 of 2 free throws to send the game into overtime.

St. George's first basket in the second half provided a spark. Sienko got the ball at the top of the key, pump faked his opponent, and drove to the hoop.

His powerful dunk that followed caused the hoop to fold onto itself, causing a short delay.

Will Tender added 19 points -- 17 coming in the first half -- for St. George's. Morton-White Pass was led by Kalen Dunlap's team-high 18 points.
