Summary

The defending State 2B defending-champion Bulldogs opened the game on a 9-0 run and went on to beat the Braves at the Spokane Arena.

Brandon Gfeller, despite a sub-par performance shooting the ball, led Colfax with 14 points. Gfeller made 6 of 15 shots, including just 1 of 8 from beyond the 3-point line. Kasey Johnson had 10 points and Skylar Simonson added nine points and eight rebounds for the Bulldogs.

Spencer Novak led La Conner with 13 points and seven rebounds.

Colfax will play Wahkiakum tomorrow. A win in that game will earn the Bulldogs a return trip to Saturday's title game.
