Summary

A defensive battle turned into a shootout in the fourth, and Chewelah held on to win 44-38 over Kettle Falls. The Bulldogs scored 20 points, more than half their total points, in the fourth. Erin Johnson led the outburst, scoring ten of her 15 points in that frame. The Cougars built their lead using sold defense and rebounding. Both Sydnie Katzer and Kaitlin Krouse grabbed 11 rebounds for Chewelah. Katzer had a double-double with 13 points to go with those rebounds. Krouse finished just short of the double-double with nine points.
