The difference was the Warriors had Derek Isaac and the Panthers did not.

Isaac erupted for 30 second-half points and finished with a tournament-record 44 as Almira/Coulee-Hartline held on and beat Valley Christian in the 1B title game.

The stat-line for Isaac, the lone senior for the Warriors, is astonishing. Isaac made 16 of 28 shots, including 6 of 12 from beyond the arc and 6 of 7 from the free-throw line. He had 14 points in the third quarter and 16 in the fourth.
