The Indians rallied in the second half and overcame early-game foul trouble to claim their second-straight 2B title.
Reardan’s Kelsey Moos and Lauren Shulz both went to the bench halfway through the second quarter with three fouls apiece. Brewster capitalized and took a four-point lead into halftime.
The Indians regained control in the second half, outscoring the Bears 29-17. Katy Burge’s jumper with just less than four minutes left sparked Reardan’s 9-0 run to end the game.
Chantel Heath made 9 of 14 shots – including 4 of 5 from beyond the arc – and finished with 22 points for Reardan. Moos added 13 points and 11 rebounds and Shulz chipped in 10 points.
Brewster’s Chandler Smith scored 35 points, but was just 9 of 25 from the field. She made 15 of 18 free throws. The Bears struggled shooting in the second half, making just 5 of 28 field-goal attempts.
