Gfeller scored 10 of his 13 points in the first half and held Northwest Christian star Kwinn Hanson scoreless after halftime. His 3-pointer at the shot-clock buzzer with 3:15 left to play sparked the Bulldogs’ 11-0 run to end the game.

The Crusaders made a run of their own in the fourth. Reuben Clark’s dunk with 6:15 left in the fourth cut Colfax’s lead to two points, but that was as close as Northwest Christian would come.

Reuben Clark had 12 points and 10 rebounds for Northwest Christian. Hanson, the Crusaders’ leading scorer, was held to six points.
