Summary

Peter Weiler scored the last seven points for the Mules to pullout the win over the Raiders, sending them into the trophy round for the 14th time in 14 state appearances.

Wahkiakum led most of the game and was up nine entering the fourth quarter. However Lake Roosevelt charged back, taking a 56-55 lead with 2:12 remaining when Lee Williams pulled up for a 10-foot jumper from the left side of the lane. The Raiders had two more chances to increase the lead before Lars Blix hit a 3-pointer from the top of the key with 1:04 to go.

Ty Egbert made one of two free throws to make it a one point game with 40 seconds left and LR had to committ three fouls to get the Mules to the foul line. Before the Raiders could get the third one Weiler got behind the defense for a layup while in the process of drawing an intentional foul from Tyler Garvin. Weiler made one of the two free throws for a 61-57 but on the ensuing possession missed the front end of a one-and-one. The Raiders then missed a shot and Weiler iced the game by making four free throws before Egbert closed the game with a 3 at the buzzer.

Weiler finished with 18 points, 10 in the second half as LR clamped down on Wyatt Parker, who had 19 of his 21 in the first half.

Egbert finished with 28 points on 11-of-15 shooting and grabbed 15 rebounds as the Raiders had a 39-22 advantage on the boards. Keith Rosenbaum added 15 points, 11 in the second-half rally. Kramer Carlson contributed 11.
