Summary

The Red Devils got up on the Lobos early and the race was on in the highest scoring game in the tournament.

Cherish Moss led the way by making seven 3-pointers and scoring 23 points, leading five Neah Bay players in double figures, including reserves Rebecca Thompson with 11 and Merissa Murner with 10. Cierra Moss had 16 and Faye Chartraw 12, plus a game-high 10 rebounds.

The Red Devils only shot 32 percent but they got up 90 shots, helped by 33 offensive rebounds, part of a 50-32 advantage on the glass

Lopez, which lost the regular-season matchup 57-21, shot 40 percent but had 20 turnovers and made just 12 of 23 free throws. Marina Steinbrueck had 11 points with Patience Taylor and Sarah Stanley getting 10 apiece.

The highlight for the Lobos was the last points of the game, a pair of free throws for 5-foot-2 freshman Kiana Oya, her first varsity points of the season.
