Kendra Staymates’ potential game-tying 3-pointer in the final seconds was off the mark and Adna held on to beat Riverside Christian 47-42.

The Pirates’ Regyn Gaffney hit two free throws with three seconds left to seal the win.

Jordan Sandrini led Adna with 17 points and four rebounds, The Pirates won the rebounding battle 36-25.

Tori Carpenter led the Crusaders with 15 points and six rebounds.

Adna will take on defending champion Reardan in the semifinals at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
