Summary

Cherish Moss finished with 18 points, including four 3-pointers, and hit a pair of free throws in the final minute of play and Neah Bay survived a late run by Selkirk to beat the Rangers (21-10) 52-50.

The Red Devils (25-2) led by as many as nine in the second half, scoring five of the first seven points in the third quarter. But Selkirk rallied behind Annie Couch and Jaimi Adams to take their first lead since the opening minutes of the contest, 48-46 with two minutes remaining.

Rather than falter in those final two minutes, though the Devils back to score four straight points and take a 50-48 lead. The Rangers tied the game at 50, but then missed Courtney Holter missed the front end of a one-and-one and the Devils took advantage, with Moss getting the go-ahead free throws to go.

Selkirk, led by Adams' 14 points and 11 rebounds and Couch's 13 points, had the final possession with 26 seconds left, but could not get off a shot in that span.

The Red Devils shot just 34.6 percent for the game, but forced 26 turnovers to make up the difference, getting 13 points from Courney Winck. Leading scorer Rebecca Thompson was held to just seven points, but added seven steals.
