Summary

After not scoring for the first 7:47 seconds of the fourth quarter, the Toutle Lake Ducks got a pair of free throws from Payton Hoff to give the Ducks the lead for good, 39-38. The Raiders tried to respond, but turned the ball over with an errant pass out of bounds.

The Raidres, who led by as many as nine in the first half, struggled after the break, scoring just eight points in the second half. A 15-6 run by Toutle Lake in the third gave the Ducks their first lead since early in the first quarter.

Jada Desautel was the lone spark for LR in the second half, scoring all eight of their points. Her basket in the first two minutes of the fourth quarter gave the Raiders a 38-37 lead that would hold up until the final 13 seconds.

Desautel finished with 12 points and Dominique Pleasants had a game-high 15 points with five rebounds for the Raiders. TL was led by nine points and eight rebounds from Jamie Wall and Hoffs eight points and 10 boards.

The win moves the Ducks to the State 2B title game Saturday at 9 p.m. Lake Roosevelt will play for third place at 1 p.m.
