Summary

Steven Bosma hit the game-clinching free throws with 13 seconds left and the Knights survived a furious full-court onslaught by the ACH defense, outlasting the Warriors.

ACH trailed by nine going into the final frame, but picked up the intensity with a full-court press that at one point produced four consecutive turnovers by the Knights. The Warriors capitalized, scoring nine straight to eventually tie the game on a basket by Brandon Boutain. Robert Hurka tallied three of his four steals in the fourth quarter helping to ignite the ACH offense with breakaway baskets.

Derek Isaak led all scorers with 19 points after being held scoreless in the opening frame. But his three-point attempt in the final minute came up short off the iron and a late drive to the paint ended in a turnover that led to Bosma's winning free throws.

SSC used its height advantage well, with Trevor Wagenaar, Kevin DeJong and Steven Broersma -- all listed at 6-foot, 5 inches or taller -- combined for 29 points and 24 rebounds.

The Knights will next play in the state title game Saturday at 5 p.m. and ACH will play for third place at 1 p.m.
